For a different country :-\
I've had two (or maybe three) Spirits and they are superb tools but because of their size I really want to pop one in my coat pocket and casually carry. Of course due to UK legislation I can not :(

as he walks off with a kukri round town :P
silly laws the only people there going to stop carrying blades is people who will use them as a tool, if i waanted to go and stab someone ( which i dont) i don't think i'd care much for that law
just my 2 cents

Of course your quite right Neil :-[ Such a shame that butterknife blade isnt a slippy :(
I took some time out from the Spirit but over the last week I've been carrying one at work and its been a pleasure :D

I really think that the original spirit, of all the tools, is the least likely to get you in trouble, because its knife blade is so innocent looking, non-aggressive serrations and no point. At first glance, I would think its a sort of saw.
And with all the other tools crammed in there, there is no mistaking it for anything other than a multitool.
