They're all soldiers. Wenger, Elsener and Victorinox.

Some of you haven't given a preference re. Vic vs Wenger. Feel free to do so.
The weather looks like it'll be smurfy on Saturday so I'm hoping the stand will be at the flea market.
What I'll do is ask them to set aside all the requested knives, take pictures of those they have and ask if they have the other years that people have asked. (if not, there's another guy that has fewer but may have them... He's selling them a bit more expensive but I may be able to haggle)
Once I've sourced and validated with you all through pictures I'll check on the delivery prices for each of your countries and validate a final price. Then the next Saturday I'll go pick up all of them and start the final process with each of you.
If anyone else wants to join in feel free to do so before Saturday morning. Even with years not on the pic. I'll ask and see what we can find :D

- the weather was a bit bad in the morning and the stall wasn’t there today.
- I did get their contact information from another seller and I will be calling them on Monday.
- I did find 3 knives from the list at another seller with some SAKs. He doesn’t have much but I think at least 1 was a year that was not displayed in the first pic.
- I’ll be messaging 3 of you with pics from the years I found. They’re not purchased but he set them aside for me until next week.

I've sourced just 1 knife for sure for one of you. Have yet to pick it up... Personal schedule and smurfy weather didn't help with the whole flea market thing.
I did manage to (finally) get hold of the sellers with the display in the first post. They were hard to reach and I did call them at an extremely bad time last week. Didn't want to push my luck too much... I've now provided them with a list and they do have more soldier knives in storage so they'll get back to me about all of them and should send me pictures too.
For those of you looking for knives from the 60s, they have very few so please already lower your expectations... This way you can only get a good surprise :D
In terms of condition, they should all be in very good with just a few in slightly less than very good condition. (they do have older models in all sorts of conditions but most of those that you asked should be good)
Keep you guys posted individually with pics and prices.

Also, no army-issued SAK has ever had a bail supplied with it. Some people have added them on some army knives afterwards. Some civilian-issued Wenger SI have them (as opposed to the army-issued Wenger Soldat). Most of those you'll see with a bail have the empty square on the lower half of the front scale where the army ones have the WK quality control stamp.

FYI, nobody has requested a 2000 within my process in this thread (nor have I seen any in my researches) so I'm not sure if you'll have any success. If you really want to sell it you may have more success giving your rare beauty a thread of its own.

When looking at Syem's pics, I noticed a 1940 Soldier so I asked him to keep an eye out for one of those on top of my birth year.

Thanks Syem. I am checking tracking always. It takes 4 days from Europe to my side of the planet then customs clearing the domestic sorting. I will get them probably by the time I am back home from my Timor Leste mission. Obrigado! :cheers:

Hahaha..I am not a young fellow anymore. This one's for my youngest son. Will gift this to him when he reaches at the right age. Here is the BYSAKs family picture (the 2013 is not a BYSAK though). Everybody in the family is and will be carrying their BYSAKs in time, my salute to the great Swiss Army Knife. :salute:

I've finally moved all my SAKs into my new place... Boy was that a heavy few trips :)

First off, I believe I said it then, and I'll say it again, I'm very happy with the 1979 you scored for me!
Now, the question I wanted to ask:
Would you be willing to assess if there are any 1981 available? I know that, with the current Covid situation, everything is more difficult, so, I understand if this is no longer a possibility.
I have a BYSAK for me, and for my little girl (LE2017), but would love to get one with my wife's BY.
