Here you have some pictures of this victorinox that I found in the flea market.
I know it is a model that is seen here from time to time.
But this time I find it interesting to have original box and instruction manual.
I believe that it is between 1983-1985 but if someone can confirm it I would appreciate it.

The knife was produced not later than early '84.
Hard to tell with the low-res pics, but could be as early as say c. '77, but in the early-mid '80s gift box, which I understand to have been available separately. I'd need to see the back of the knife - tools closed in better detail as well the wood saw to dial it in better. Pretty sure I see a tip ground into the awl tip which would indicate a pre- '80 build. Wood saw can split the '78/'79 if that's correct.

I will try to do more photos on Wednesday. Before I do not think I can.
The puzon has a chamfer on the tip below. Does that refer to that?
As a translator I use sometimes to understand the meaning.

Anytime you can get the pictures would be great!
I can't find the translation for 'puzon' except for 'puzzle' and 'trombone'.
I need to see the other side of the awl tip in the white circle:

Tip of the wood saw will also help:

It's as much as I can make the photos.
Thank you.

Perfect! Thanks for posting the new pictures! :tu:
I'd say this one was built in '79. Very late '78 to early '80. So it probably sat in the shop for a few years before it was sold. Otherwise, I think it would have originally had a box with the green felt-like liner.

I'm just interested in production chronology and timeline study for Victorinox knives. Only a hobby for me. My effort has been focused on 1970s, but anything after about 1946 is of interest to me.
