And you have to sharpen the axe then clean and oil the axe handle with linseed oil :pok:

Post by: Thunderpants on April 07, 2018, 10:03:43 AM: It's actually pretty sharp - I know the handle looks terrible cos some idiot (me) left it outside for a few hundred years, but I had been chopping away in the garden just seconds before that picture was taken!
Nevertheless, I am dutifully heading out again today to take a selfie while swinging an axe... what could possibly go wrong!

I lost no limbs or fingers taking this picture but it was a close thing!
