Apparently one of the seats at Ducati is up for grabs next season, so both riders want to push as hard as they can to keep their seat.  In my opinion Iannone is a better rider than Dovizioso, but he did get it wrong this time.  On the other hand, Dovizioso got it wrong a couple of times in the past also, so ...  I just think it's awesome to see a fight between team mates like this, F1 teams should look at some MotoGP races, they can learn a lot there ...

But I fear it's going to be the other way around, looks like MotoGP is learning new (bad) stuff from F1, penalty points for causing a collision, using a tyre manufacturer that can't produce a tyre that can last a full race ... So they have to use a mandatory pitstop to switch bikes in the middle of the race ...  ::).

We've seen things like this before from Michelin, remember the GP F1 of Indianapolis back in 2005, where there were only 6 cars on the grid (the ones that used Bridgestone tyres), since the Michelin tyres were "unsafe" ... The Bridgestone marketing department must be having a field day after yet another giant fail from Michelin.
