Anyone else just have a lot going on? Trying to get caught up?
I’m really busy right now taking care of a puppy, and needing to get the house cleaned, and getting caught up on work.
So tell us about it, vent a little :tu:
But if you're busy....
Do you have time to be here
Hmm....
-
I mostly visit in the morning. I like to see whats happened while I've been asleep. Lots of members just waking as I lay down. I also like to visit just before bed.
-
I’m in one of the latest time zones, so the morning works best :tu:
-
I won’t be on here, wait, I might go for a walk shopping today,

Another member. I leave work and either feel beat, or like I have 49594 other things I need to get done. Gets to be a bit much.
Started posting again for the mental break this place gives.

Always busy. 9 hours of computer and phones and email (aerospace manufacturing, supply chain), placing orders, expediting, covering shortages, vetting suppliers...I'm getting stressed just thinking about it.
Then job 2, parenthood. I get pick ups in the afternoon; wife drops the kids off in the morning (may the flying spaghetti monster bless her with his noodle appendage). Baseball practice twice a week, walk the dogs after kids go down, keeping house clean, cook dinner, bedtime reading....I think I have roughly three minutes of free time on any given day.

Back in August I used foul language to describe how a salesman sold an AV job and my general disdain for him in general. Got sh*-canned the next day. ::) ::) Blessing in disguise as it was a poor working environment. Now I work in agriculture here in East Texas. Had to get my Texas CDL, my Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Kentucky and Arkansas Herbicide/Pesticide license with special requirements so lots of studying while working 60 plus hours a week. :ahhh :ahhh
Now they have me working some highly specialized spraying truck that is about as complicated as flying a space shuttle dealing with acres, volumes and math. I need a drink!
I try to get on here more but I've been pretty busy these days.
If you want to know how to (selectively) kill vegetation I'm your guy

I'm in good company here! :D :D
I turn 52 in April, been working full time since 17. Have moved from several professions as economy and circumstance dictated. :ahhh Being a licensed electrician, on to being a licensed hvac/boiler mechanic, and again to a licensed locksmith. Then, running a service that combined all 3 professions. While lucrative, the exposure to the elements and enviroments and general mileage have begun to take its toll. My doc says very healthy heart and guts :tu: but a hip and both knees are gonna need a exchange :D :D Now, I'm seeking shelter from the wind, working 40hrs. as a stationary engineer at a local hospital and fast tracking myself in Cisco and Linux courses to move into the next chapter of my working career that will involve more mental than physical effort. .
Absolutely adore this forum and great members, looking forward to spending a bit more time here as work and study allow.

I constantly walk around with a lot of clocks in my hands, so people can see that I have a lot of "Time on my hands"!
