MICRA on Memorial Day , day to honor the sons and daughters of America who gave their life’s in defending the freedoms of others through out the world were ever assigned duties.
I will do that. Getting everything back in the box and adding the stuff I want to get rid of will be challenging enough. Another item or two might have to come out.
These days they have airbags everywhere I look so not just the driver and not just impact from the front. There is even one under the bonnet of our car. In case of collision I suppose it will fling some pedestrian or hapless elk over the car instead of into the cabin? (I don't really want to find out!)

All this talk about safety features reminds me of an easy way to prevent a lot of accidents. It can be summed up in five words: slow it the smurf down. I never would have said this 30 years ago, but I've also become a big proponent of tiered licensing.
Different shades of blue and green were no problem for me when I requested Alox Level II. With the silly prices Alox can command on the secondary market (and me being cash-poor and kinda cheap), an upgrade to Level III would bea real challenge for me. Any kind of gear we talk about? I'm in! 30 different pieces of gear in 30 days will be easy, and (with careful planning) it may even serve as a documentation of how my needs, uses, and tastes have changed.
