Swiss Army Knights Forum / Re: Don't degrease SAK with acetone,,
« Last post by Swisster on Today at 01:19:15 AM »
I thought it was kind of common knowledge to not use acetone or alcohol on plastics.  ? You mean I can't use an oven turned up to 500 to dry my SAK for an hour ? Should I not be rubbing the blade edge on my tongue repeatedly ? I'm glad I'm not from the South.

Here are some comparison shots: two generations of Pro Scouts (PS), a Rebar and a Supertool 300; newer PS with Rebar; older PS with Rebar; older PS with ST300, and both PS's.

I know that feeling BP, and is even more patent in your model with the newer wharncliffe blade; it is somewhat less so in the earlier, drop point ones, as the "belly" adds cutting edge. Sadly, and although larger than a Rebar when deployed, the available space in the handles is the same as the Rebar's  and is compromised by the pliers mechanism. That's how I see it.

Finally scored a SideClip. Date codes 0698, 0898, 1098, 0199. Pretty impressed with how lightweight it is.

 :woohoo:
