For me it's the pliers.I don't carry a pliers based multi so,I rely on the pliers on my sak.
I have only needed a larger plier once while at work in the past year or so.The sak pliers
are small but, strong.Mine sure get a good work out.
-
Scissors for me, one million uses :D
-
flathead screw driver, and the main blade, but have TBH as i mainly use a MT for the pliers ive narrowed my SAk down to a commander as has all i need combined with my esquire as like the scissors and carry that in my pocket at work as good for cutting bandages, so i guess scissors as well , ::) :D

I must admit the Awl is a required tool on my SAK's that I carry. It saves the tips of my blades and works better for poking things in general..... :pok: :pok:
-
Scissors for me. If I'm carrying a SAK without scissors, I make sure I have my Micra with me.
-
scissors and combotool
-
No-one said the saw yet?....not a surprise, Mike must be at work.
Scissors for me. :D
-
If we assume a blade is a given :) Then some form of flat head so either a combi tool or bottle opener.
-
The kay ring...
Seriously, the can opener. Believe it or not, it's probably the thing I find most useful- for light prying (mostly because the can opener fin can wedge into gaps for prying), and I turn lots of screws with it. The majority of the time I use it for phillips screws unless the screws are recessed into a hold where I have to use the T phillips.

I'm home now :D
Yep saw, as I use it quite a lot at work, and when down the woods with my boy :)
-
Saw. I can bodge my way through without a scissors, but when I need a saw, I gotta have a saw.

Exactly :tu:

Scissors :D for what I need they are better then a blade

Another vote for scissors here. Saturday night at a party and the following day at downtown Disney it was the only implement needed aside from the tweezers...
Which explains why I perfer cellidor handles over alox *runs and hides*

Nothing wrong with that grimm. :salute: It just so happens I agree. :D

I've never used a scissors on any of my tools. What do you guys use them for?
I guess I'd have to say the flat head screwdriver. It's the one I use the most on a SAK.
-
Definitely scissors, for a number of reasons. Here are some of them:
I cut my nails, open packets, mess about with paracord, fiddle with EDC organisation and have a serious fetish for removing lose hanging threads :D

I thought I was alone on that one!!

Personally I am partial to the Soldier Awl just like so many here but will do with the regular version. I also prefer the Wenger Awl to the Vic model.

Don't you people have teeth? >:(
-
Scissors. By FAR the most used tool on any of my multis/SAKS.
-
Considering my other EDC items, for me it's a file.
-
Without a doubt the pin! especially at Birthday parties >:D
Seriously I cant really part with the Saw and scissors :ahhh
-
well let's ay this way....
IF I could have a PIONEER with scissors ( hello !! Neil... :pok: :D ) that would be perfect SAK !!!
-
Scissors.. (I carry a Classic..) ;)

Hmm. Just to be different, I'll say....the ink pen! (either on plus scales or on midnight manager)
I've signed my name for receipts, filled out checks, wrote down notes, poked things, and all other sorts of writey like stuff.
-
another vote for the "Awl" it does save my blades/driver tips!
before coming here and Sosak many tools on SAKs and MTs were not used often by me,
after reading/learning all the uses I really like them all/awl now, you've edge-a-macated me! :salute:
-
Scissors & corkscrew. Feel naked without them.
-
"tool on a sak you can't live without"?
Probably the handles :P
-
Awl, hands down! :tu:
-
Package hook!
Or maybe the alox awl.
-
Scissors. I tend to use 'em a lot. In fact, I made sure my EDC SAKs have scissors. :D
-
Large and small/phillips screwdriver, scissors, awl. In that order.
