   I think you could make something, or you could always put a strip of duct tape over the saw.  Not elegant but workable.  Peel it off when you need to cut.  Probably wind up needing the duct tape instead.  Some kind of plastic tape might even be better.  It will have to be thin.

   There should have been a liner lock on these GAKs to begin with.  At least on the saw.  Best wishes.  G

If you want a really good patina, a wedge of Jarlsberg Swiss 🧀 will do nicely

Sure, the blade is now darkened. But there was a lot of crud that had to be scrubbed off. And I should have foreseen one side effect: it now smells like a smurfing potato. Hopefully that'll fade away.
And I've noticed the blade is rather stiff. Since these are my first carbon Opinels, I have to ask: is it normal for them to have stiff blades? I'll have to find an effective way to get some oil on the blade and pin.

I think some of the Kydex sheaths that have more adjustment with screws for a Rebar could work but it would be trial and error to see what would work exactly

I think I have one or so for a Rebar and can check with the Fuse
