A day of...
Waking up at 9. Coffee, breakfast.
An unexpected turn of events caused me ending up in the Netherlands, at the Victorinox Outlet Store! :ahhh

Sadly, the tales of rare, NOS SAKs in display are tales of the past.
I heard some great stories about awesome finds here, but when asking around at the staff, it turns out that there are no old SAKs left.
That is, apart from some Mother Of Pearl SAKs. And that's only because of the price... €415 for a Swisschamp... no thanks, even though they are plain beautifull.
Since the opening of the Outlet store, collectors from all corners of the Benelux visited the store and asked the people there to keep their eyes open for specific models.
The list of "waiting collectors" grew quite large throughout the years, so quite sadly, the golden years for collectors are behind us for this selling point.
People who are looking for some bags, clothing and fragerances, will get nice discounts on retail pricings!
On SAKs too actualy... but standard models available only!
They did have 4 "year of the Horse" Climbers in stock from 2013. The price was good, so I brought one home.

No fancy box like on the Huntsman, but a fun knife nonetheless.
I also grabbed some full red lanyards on the cheap, which are usualy not available in Europe, and drooled some over the watches and EDC bags. The watches were still a tad more expensive than I was willing to spend today, the bags were awesome, but I couldn't justify getting one while my current leather one is about a year old and more than decent. It's just not a Vic bag...
In short, great experience and I'll happily visit again when I'm closeby.

Not much sense in buying current production models at a discount for me. But for someone who is just beginning...

And I bought my Airboss watch there at about 50% discount (impulse buy :P ).
Years ago they also had a couple of Wallpaper Cuts knives. I think an MTo member bought one or two.
Too bad they don't have anything really nice anymore.

This year I visited the store in summer, but it was rather disappointing. No special models, no special clothing, nothing special at all, only some 2015-2016 'limited' SD's.
Anyway, when I'm nearby I'll stop and shop.
