Title: Thrunite Tis kicked the bucket today
Post by: Aloha on October 12, 2014, 12:04:10 AM
I'm not sure how long I've had this little light.  I bought quite a few and have given them out to my daughters and friends.  I had a friend the other day tell me hers wasn't working.  I made several inquiries but ended up asking for the light back so I could have a look.

My initial observations are that nothing appears out of the ordinary.  No loose pieces or parts, no squashed interior parts ( these lights can suffer from being over tightening ), battery used is fully charged, emitter looks to me intact, thread are clean, so .

It may be something more complicated but for the price I'm not bummed.

I have 2 in daily use and so far no issues.  I asked her if she dropped it and she said no so I'm stumped.

I am really thinking about getting the Fenix EO5 SS and trying the Thrunite TI3.

That's a bit disappointing mate. :-\  My wife has my original Ti and hasn't reported any problems to me, so I'm assuming it's still going strong.  I really like the look of the Ti3 though, especially as it can be had in Neutral White.

I ordered a Ti3 to replace the Ti2 that my Brother had and lost
I've only had a little play so far, very impressed with the Ti3, slightly thinner than the the Ti2 and very bright
