Title: New Olight (i3T EOS & M1T Raider)
Post by: Etherealicer on August 27, 2018, 10:11:36 PM
Just got these two lights... not particularly fan of the knurling but overall nice light. I do wish the clip was deeper?
Going to carry the i3T for a while

I got emails from olight ahead of the i3T release.  It seemed interesting as I recall.  It'll be good to hear your thoughts on it as you use it.  Is it a forward or reverse clicky?

Nice!

Seems like a decent price for the feature set

Not sure forward is a good choice for a pocket light, as it can be activated without pressing the button fully.
It does take quite a bit of force for a half click, but its a very short path... Will let you know if it is enough to prevent accidentally emptying the battery.

That's a good point. It'll be interesting to hear how it did in the pocket

Curious how the i3T is compared to the i3EOS (usually, it or the I1R are my EDC flashlights). I feel that clip will make it more convenient.

The i3T is a good deal larger/heavier than the i3EOS... whether the clip is worth that, is up to everybody.
