Title: Exeter's 1000 posts GAW
Post by: Exeter on July 26, 2019, 11:59:20 AM: It took me a while, but finally I'm getting very close to a 1000 posts.

A couple of months ago I bought this NIB Toolzall PocketPro by Crescent as a nice little piece of MT history, but then I thought it would make a good GAW prize, so here it is, up for grabs as I reach my 6th nut.

To encourage participation and to reward commitment and contribution, entries should have at least 50 posts. Those interested but not there yet, get posting, you have about a week, as I'm planning to do the draw next Saturday (03/08) regardless which day I reach that little milestone.

(Worldwide registered shipping is on me.)

You know the drill, just put your names on the list (with numbers).

I thought I was the coolest thing going when I could cut bit of hose or snip a cable tie without having to go bludge a proper tool off one of the older guys....

I hope you appreciated the stamps, because the post office lady insisted on putting on "proper stamps" "for the British lady" - I guess she misread your name - instead of just printing one. :rofl: Although in the end she still had to print a label for the remaining fraction of the sum. :facepalm:

Same here, I too collected stamps, I was properly into philately for a couple of years. Then I found better uses for my pocket money. :D
