Title: Reoccurring donations?
Post by: GrandpaPatch on November 02, 2018, 07:37:21 AM
OK, so I'm not a rocket scientist, but shouldn't there be away to make a reoccurring donation; i.e. $1.00USD per month? Considering the number of members [6331], divided in half (to account for those who 'fall to the wayside') [3,165.5], further divided in half (to account for those who don't give a SMURF) [1,582.75], further divided in half (to account for those who care but can't afford it) [791.375], subtract the 'monthly goal' [516.375] and you still have a 'profit' of $516.37 USD per month. No ads, more bandwidth, more features and all for the low cost of $1.00 USD per member.

So if it is just this easy, why can't I submit a reoccurring donation? I'm lazy and don't want to hit the 'Make A Donation" button every month! Damn, can someone come type this for me? My fingers are getting tired and maybe I won't visit the site because I can't handle clicking on the 'bookmarked page'. :gimme:

Trouble is that PayPal has fees of 1-2 dollars per transaction. :-\

If you sign up as a Charter Member ($30/year) you can make the payment recurring.  You get access to the Charter member forum, early notification of giveaways and offers and some other perks.
