I'm going to have to follow Antti's example and figure out what pliers based tool to pair with it.
Maybe a Signal? Failing that, a Rebar or a Wave would awlways be a good choice. A SwissTool with a wood saw would be up there, too.

Lights on has always worked for me. Why mess with it?

All of a sudden, I made other plans for these. They are staying in the MTo community, though!

It could just be the lighting or tinting of the picture

The Mod Squad / Re: Built another 58mm with Storage Compartment

Very cool.
Yeah,,, that is cool. Never considered stashing precious metals in a SAK. Slide 4 individual grams of 24k gold in there and you'd be set for emergency bartering.

Slide in some nitroglycerine pills in there as backups,,,, or aspirin. So many legitimate uses.

Thank you Gentlemen.  I helped my brother build one with storage and he was able to fit one 1gm gold bar and four 1gm silver bars.  I don't have any 1gm gold bars, but I bet you could fit 6 of them in there, since they are a bit smaller than the silver bars.

Edged Tools / Re: What Traditional Knife are you toting today?
« Last post by SteveC on Today at 10:48:47 PM »
This arrived today and in my pocket.
I am a little under impressed with the handles, but really impressed by the 1095 blade.
I love the sheepsfoot, swedge and long pull.
And the grind is perfect, sharp, even and burr free.
The blade is a little larger than I am normally comfortable carrying being a hair’s breadth over 3” in its entirety including the tang.

On the whole a great usable knife for the £50 I paid for it.

Congrats !  I think the handles look pretty good  :tu:
