Title: Sharing my embarrassment
Post by: Caseman601225 on February 16, 2018, 12:24:01 AM
Many are the days that I've carried this knife. It has pretty much every tool that I use frequently. I have told more than one person that it was a Fieldmaster. Now that I'm a knight and have gotten back on sakwiki, I've discovered that I'm toting a Huntsman. I will do my best to bring no further shame to the banner!  (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180215/7b29d91176f37ac6540858048d3009ae.jpg)

I always think of using wine to make Hunter's stew.   :-\

No Shame in an honest mistake.

Now if you follow Butch

we may need to reevaluate your Knighthood!

Douglas,

If you check the Swiss Knights Banner thread, we've decided to mostly stop ridiculing Butch for being a disloyal knight, agent of the Party, and user of dubious SAK's. His infamy has been laid to rest and he is now a prodigal Knight in good standing....even though we're keeping an eye on him.

So, let's not berate Butch or flog his reputation unnecessarily or with excessive repetition. Of course, I understand that in this case, Butch's behavior does serve as a cautionary tale. A tale we should all keep in mind as a mark on our own moral compasses. But let's not run the poor man down anymore....for now.

If it's any consolation, the Boyscouts of America 'Huntsman' is a Fieldmaster, so...

In my book, you're the one holding the "get out of jail free" card on this one :D

Lynn, thats very interesting.  Thanks for sharing.

@Caseman, not to worry.  Good thing is now you know and can give due recognition to the wonderful Huntsman.
