Title: Orient kinetic perpetual calendars
Post by: ThundahBeagle on November 03, 2017, 06:29:07 PM
Who has an Orient kinetic energy watch? Mine are from the 60's to the 80's. The perpetual calendars are usually good for 40 years or so.

Here is one.

The Crystal on this one is scratched up. The day date is one thing, but the perpetual calendar...if you line up the month and year at the bottom, then you can look at the full-on month calendar at the top.

I have three of these. This one's full on calendar is effective from the year 1988 to 2032. Almost an employment lifetime. That's enough years to count you graduated from high school damn near to retirement age.

That is indeed a pretty sweet watch!  I always wondered what you did when your watch ran out of years.  In 2033 we are going to party like it's 1988....   :ahhh
