Title: Do images automagically resize?
Post by: Damsel on March 04, 2017, 09:36:07 PM: I'll be making a topic later with five or so photos I took with my camera, they are in the range of 3000px wide and I'm concerned they might be too large. Resizing them isn't a problem but I'd like to know if it's needed.

These will likely be uploaded to imgur

Two or three years ago, the site was dismantled and replaced, breaking all external links to my pics. So now I'm uploading directly to where I want them to be. It's a bit more work at first, but might save a lot of trouble later.

Post by: Damsel on March 05, 2017, 12:09:55 AM: I resized them and uploaded them to imgur. Didn't want to risk uploading and posting 6 large (in my opinion) photos, which were something like 4.5mb each. It would have taken too long.

I did use Photobucket but they became increasing hard to deal with :facepalm: So I went with Flickr and never looked back :cheers: You can upload photos in full res and then when you want to link to say, maybe the forum you can pick which size you want the picture to be in your post :tu:
