Title: 3 very small packages came in today.

One Gold Ingot Classic, a Time Keeper, and a Sterling Silver Hammered Classic.

Post by: Chako on August 04, 2009, 06:48:53 PM: As written on the certificate card it is 1 gram of 999.99 Gold. It is recessed into the handle and not mounted flush to the surface. Possibly to protect the very malleable metal from too much damage. 1 gram of gold is not that large. It is a conversation piece though. :)

I wonder what was the occasion, if any, for issuing those gold ingot Classics, and how many there were? The cert. number of 193456 implies that there was a sizeable run of those.

I am a bit annoyed. I paid for a Tiffany about a week ago only to find out that it is just getting shipped. Why hold it for a week after the sales...I just don't get it.

Was it from eBay and the seller had a woman's name? If so, that's normal.

They sell so many TSA forfeitures, it may take them that long to figure out what gets shipped where.

I've found another seller on there (with similar deals) that I monitor now that is much better, and actually sends you a note when he mails it.
