Title: Internet Explorer not opening threads
Post by: Anthony on September 18, 2009, 01:59:35 AM: I tried to click on the "So this guy is an expert?" thread in the LM forum and I get an internet explorer error and the page doesn't load..what's up?

I ask that because, I've had that happen a number of times in the last couple of days (although I'm using Firefox). You just get a blank page?

Okay, same problem, same thread. I'm wondering if it is a YouTube thing, like Mr W said.

Does it happen on other threads with embedded youtube videos such as the "now listening to" (http://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,2916.930.html)

I have my suspicions that IE7 doesn't like the lightbox mod, but I thought that issue was only related to SMF2beta, which we aren't running...

I have a different mod that supposedly is better than the lightbox mod... maybe I should switch, and see if one of you can give me feedback...

I now only use Google Chrome as my browser... never get failed paged, error messages or incompatibility issues.... it's excellent - highly recommended!

I would almost agree except today I try to log into my bank and it showed your browser doesn't support it :think: hmmm maybe I should reboot,but yes I run chrome for ages now and this is the only hicup so far :salute:

[edit]oh and my saved thumbnails are different today too,what's going on chrome :pok: :twak: :think:
