Title: any info on this?
Post by: gav on March 06, 2009, 03:14:04 PM: Would anybody be able to give me any info on this.i bought it at a yard sale.its either rubbish or it could be something special.it has FR.KRAUSE SOLINGEN GERMANY stamped on all the blades.

Seems we have had some info on grooming kits like this one some time ago. I would suggest though, that anything stamped SOLINGEN likely isn't rubbish.

Post by: Neil on March 06, 2009, 11:44:58 PM: I've seen them before, even mad ones with little hammer head attachments. I've put the odd bid in on them on eBay just out of curiosity but they always sell well.

There are English variations on the same theme but the quality isn't the same at all.

None actually. :-\ My interests lean more to the "tool" side, and these old kits seem a little more "knifey."
