Hi everyone!
Just got this old Tinker. (80's maybe ?) :dunno:
I was looking for a squared phillips sak but I did not know the head was splitted for can opening.
Cool feature!

Nice one mate - The can opener slot was an amazing innovation from Vic

I learned about the Phillips slotted can opener here on the SAK forum.

Nice pic!!
Are those heads more easy to damage or break?
-
:dunno: Not for sure on breakage...while looking for them, I have only seen one or two broken out of maybe 75 that I have seen on eBay.

Nice find! I have a Master Craftsman with the split head Philips head. Still would love to find a tin to use it on :dd:

I've used my can key Tinker Philips now for a while ( couple years :dunno: ) with no issues to speak of.

I suspect the pin and liners are still the weakest point!

Most canned hams. Sure they come with their own can key, but you don't have to use it.
