Title: #4 Blasting Cap Pliers
Post by: Yadda on October 28, 2013, 07:38:17 PM
The EOD tool Bob posted a few months back jumped to mind when I saw this one.
Usual disclaimers on the seller, don't know them just thought the multitool was interesting and deserved documenting here.

Reminds me of the WW2 german Sprengmeister multitool. You know, for setting up charges and blowing up stuff. :D

Very cool Yadda :tu: These are the same crimpers we had in our demo kits and they're still being used today.

Nope, this one was issued to the german troops during World War II.

 That tool is just... genius. I bet it really gave an edge in the field. How much does something like that cost?

€50 seems to be the going price.

One seller out of Dresden, Germany has a few listed but others pop up occasionally.

Some vary slightly, different orientation of the screwdriver, different prybay, wirecutters on the outside or inside of the plier pivot, ...

Here are some of the current listings.
