Title: Alan's attempt to become a time lord
Post by: Alan K. on April 23, 2016, 04:14:53 AM
Here are 5 of my watches.  there were others but in disrepair or missing bands so they will have to wait until they are more presentable.  First picture they are stacked on a reproduction Tyrannosaurus Rex tooth that I bought at the La Brea Tar Pits & Museum in 1982.  Second picture are the watches left to right on my desk.  Last picture is the tooth by itself.  I thought it was cool when I was a kid and I still like it.

From left to right are:
Swiss Army, Citizen eco-drive, Tag Heuer, Nicolet, Consort.

I know the Tag Heuer is a lady's watch, but the girl I bought it for is long gone and I smurfing paid for it so it is mine.  True story, I bought it for 99 cents at a Goodwill thrift store then paid 100 bucks to have it restored.  I bet anyone here would have bought it for that price.

Thank you. It sat on my book shelf for 30 years just gathering dust until I decided to use it for my watches.
