Also there is a "make an offer" option too so he may go even cheaper yet

Probably only if you buy in bulk.  I made a $35 offer and it was automatically rejected.

I offered $40.00 and it was accepted. Looks like I have a "new" Wave headed my way :D .

Cool. A fair price I think.

Ben's favourite tool I'm told.

I agree! I used to carry one of the originals on my duty belt at work, but ended up replacing it with a new style Wave a few years ago. I ended up giving the original Wave to my brother when his Charge was stolen out of his truck and have missed it ever since. I also prefer the old style to the new. This one will be going back onto my belt when it arrives.

Lol - I was actually being a bit sarcastic as Benner really doesn't like the old style Wave at all.

I "appreciate" the old Wave because it was a really innovative design when it first came out, but as a tool I think the new one is vastly improved. What do you like about the old one that makes you go back to it psul71?

Ahhhh sarcasm.......it's a beautiful thing ;) .

There are a few things that I prefer on the old Wave. First would be the scissors. I found the old style scissors much easier to open/close/use. Second, I preferred the tip shape of the serrated blade on the old Wave. Third, I prefer the length of the phillips driver to the exchangeable bits.

Wanted to caution anyone who was considering bidding on these looking for the "original" style Wave.

When I got home from work today there was a package waiting in the mailbox. I opened it up as soon as I walked in the door and found.....a "new" style Wave  ??? .  The Wave was in new condition and was shipped wih one of the new nylon holsters. Needless to say I am a bit disappointed. I'm sending the seller an email in regards to this.

I'll post an update when I hear back.
