got some cheap stuff of fleabay to add to my flashlight optic but it only glows for a minute or 2.
reading other threads some ppl get upto 8 hours so wondered if anyone had any recommendations/experience for good quality long lasting gitd tape

when I was in the Navy, we used some 3M branded glow tape, and it seemed to glow for hours.
sorry I do not have more info, but maybe that will help some

I've had good luck with the Captank brand. I made a "glo-cater" ring to help find my torch on the night stand in complete darkness. It's waterproof and has endured a few solvents and salt water. Makes it easy to find, even after 10-12 hrs with night adjusted vision. Approaching the two year mark and still glowing strong. :)

Here is a link to the Captank : https://www.amazon.co.uk/Captank-Luminance-Removable-Waterproof-Rechargeable-Photoluminescent/dp/B075SXXPG8
Amazon may be out of stock. I was able to find a stateside vendor that sells by the foot.
I don't know what the maximum high temp specs are for this brand either. My little sample has absorbed prolonged, ambient , 50-60 degrees Celsius without any apparent damage.
