kudos on having both a Mystery Machine AND the A-Team van in the same shot. I was hoping to see the General Lee for the child-of-the-80s trifecta.. although that might be an orange Charger with the blower, can't tell.

The cat is fine. It appears the knife landed point first going through the carpet, underlay and hitting the concrete slab. It was probably the weight of the transformer landing on it that caused the bend. A broken toy I can get over, but a damaged tool is not so easy to let go.

Had the shot set up on the desk ready to go when the phone rings, from the other room I hear a loud bang followed by the cat bolting down the hall. One multiple parts broken Power Up Optimus Prime and one main blade bent tip on my CT41. :(
The cat is fine. It appears the knife landed point first going through the carpet, underlay and hitting the concrete slab. It was probably the weight of the transformer landing on it that caused the bend. A broken toy I can get over, but a damaged tool is not so easy to let go.
Ouch.. :/
You might be able to bend it back though? I've seen plenty of threads regarding bent blade tips around here.

Yes they are! Excellent advice and I totally agree :salute: My wife and I quit a little over a year ago and it's not an easy thing to do. I feel better in some ways, so that's good, but I still have moments when I miss it. Thankfully neither of us have given in to those moments :tu:

I like all pipes (Billiards and Rhodesian are my favourites) but for everyday problem free smoking only a Falcon would do it for me. I had some more. 3 balls and 2 stems were stollen with a black scaled Swisschamp inside their leather pouch. Dental straight stems with any of the balls is my preference.
Ducttape, nice collection. I see you use the plastic containers, indicated for long term maintenace. Do you put some humidifier inside?
Multitool Forum is the most off topic friendly forum I know. Thanks a lot Admins and Mods for permitting us to talk about our other toys.

Just in case anyone was wondering about that Steel Storm.I have Steel Storm on my to-buy list for quite some time now. The thing that keep me from ordering it is that it seems fragile, especially where the co2 "magazine" clips (in plastic handle) and where the trigger connects to the rest of the gun (all plastic). Have in mind that I never actually touched the gun, my view on it is based on online videos only.

I would not worry about the plastic parts. I haven't had any issues with that. I did once have a BB jammed into the spring feeder. I had to dissemble the gun to repair it. While looking at instructions on how to do that online, I also came across easy to do instructions to make it fully auto. I didn't do that as it is a bit illegal in my neck of the woods...but doing such is as simple as removing a few pieces inside. :oThank you Chako :tu: I was hoping it was all in my mind.

These were a birthday present for my wife some 5 years ago. My wife looks still very young and she likes treating her as a young person. She also works with adolescents (she is a schoolmaster). So she enjoyed the presents very much. Potatoheads weren't available here when we were kids.

I love figurines and statuettes so I try and find something I like whenever I travel. Believe me, finding good stuff ain't easy, especially in tourist traps...
Anyway, due to the baby and the lack of space we're experiencing I'll have to pack most of these things away, some are already packed. I remembered this thread from a chat I had in another thread so here you go, some mediocre pics I took:
Vlad Tepes or Vlad III or Vlad the Impaler or Dracula and a mug depicting the Hunyad Castle. My wife brought these back from Romania.

Who made that bus? I thought Wiking, who made a Scania truck with a Victorinox trailer did, but nothing comes up under them.
Admittedly, from this specific discussion, I've learned of two different Victorinox models I never knew existed before. Two of my hobbies in one model.

And thanks. The AR has been nearly a year in research, purchase, and assembly. Hoping to have some decent accuracy out to 600 yards or so (for an AR). The Ruger I picked up this weekend after selling my cheapie AR. Figure it'll make a nice companion to my 10/22 TD and be a good one for the whole family to shoot.

It's the Getaway Racer which apparently combines with the Police Intercepter (don't have yet) to make some awesome 6 wheeled cop car. I'll let the kid know you like her lego.

On a side note, during this shooting session, I accidentally rotated the tank as opposed to the turret, thereby sending my Master Gardener with blade extended tumbling off the table and nearly planting itself in my bare foot. That would have been exciting!
No Master Gardners were harmed during this photo shoot...and thankfully, no photographers either! :rofl:

Such is the dark pull of Norwegian Black Metal, Barbara Explosion has left Brontosaurus Rex to play lead guitar and change her name to Ördry Mürkÿr and Därth has turned to the even darker side. The MP400 and BüSchröder have joined in too as roadies.
