I'm curious as to others that are out there and think a thread dedicated to showcase them would be nice.
Please post photos of logos/shields that are either turned, altered, errors, or uniquely placed in an uncommon location.
I'll start. My brother was a graphic designer and we spent a lot of time discussing fonts, design, logos, etc., so when I saw this SAK show up with a 90 degree turn it was intriguing.
I bought it and now find myself looking to buy others.
My first:

Interesting...I only have my Camping that would fit in this category...
-
Here's a couple of mine. I have several SAKs with no shield/cross at all but those are probably less interesting.

Well, if that's a real offer and Nick won't take it in the end for some reason, I'd be interested too. Nice display, really.

I seem to remeber you yourself telling it in some other thread, even pointing out that it's in your screen name on purpose. Sorry for being attentive... ;)

I added this shield in the middle Wenger, I think it's a model named Patriot.

I don't know a lot about this one except that I think it is a Boy Scout version.

It's extremely cool, but it's definitely not a BSA issue SAK.

Correct, not America. I believe it to be from Boy Scouts of a European nation.

Hey Grant, if I remember correctly these round crossbow logos are not Victorinox logos.
They're about a Swiss Cheese maker :hatsoff:
EDIT:
I can't find the info. I'm sure it was mentioned here on MTO

Yes, it might just be the Switzerland Cheese Association logo or Switzerland cheese trademark. The later stainless ones do make me think that the origin may be different than just from the cheese related promotion from the mid 60's.

You know, I didn't think about that Lisa but I bet you're right. I looked at the Ireland Scouting logo and it's close, except it incorporates the shamrock inside the fleur-de-lis. I wonder if maybe it was a special instance of this? Regardless, it's a super cool SAK and I'm glad you found it! :)

More stainless Elinox shields. Best I can tell these were used sometime between ‘76 and ‘78.
