G'Day,
I bought an old Minichamp that had the original scales changed to the tweezers and toothpick combination. I want to restore it to it's former glory but cannot find the sliding / locking mechanism that holds the pen in place. All the replacement scales I can find does not include that part. I have tried the inter-webby but cannot find it under most combinations of "parts" or "pen parts". I could only find a tutorial pic illustrating the use of the pen. I have added the pic and circled the bit in red.
Is this a part that us mere mortals can order or purchase? Can anyone point me in the right direction please?
Cheers,
Pete

I got one such scale directly from the flagship store in Geneva. I can get you one if you'd like.
Which color are you looking for?
If I remember properly there's 3 parts, the scale (bit thicker than a normal one), the little grey sliding part and the pen. They have and provide all 3. Maybe not in all colors though.
I've also seen in their drawers the 58mm scales with light implements. They however don't have the light inserts.

Hi Syem,
Thank you for the reply.
I will appreciate that. I bought Blue Sapphire scales already as well as the replacement pen insert. If they sell the grey bit seperate that is all I need. However, if you can only get it with the scales, that is ok too. I don't mind having additional scales.
PM sent
Thank you, Pete
