I have used the method shown in the video for over 30 years. Very good for smaller ties and makes size selection in kit easier with multiple sizes. Like a magazine, instead of cutting the feed tip leave in place and add to it when restocking grip.
Bundling works for many, but 1st time you forget to tighten, loose ties scatter through out the carry bag.
