Title: Multitool for Sweaty Hands?
Post by: Teofilo on January 23, 2016, 05:44:36 AM: When feeling uncomfortable, or getting tense or excited, my hands sweat.
Don't the Black Oxide tool or Victorinox Multitools rust easily from
sweat or perspiration?
From experience, Leatherman MTs easily shows signs of rust after use
of the implements (sometimes even the plier head) in a day or two, if not cleaned or oiled.

Post by: Aloha on January 23, 2016, 06:16:16 AM: I'd imagine the BO would inhibit rust more than untreated SS. By nature its a corrosive preventive measure. I've not experienced rusting on either SS or BO tools when exposed to water for prolonged periods tho not sure about sweaty hand.

Maybe some small strips of grip tape down the handle too.
