I like these. I wish they’d put these out on 91mm models.

I don't like these cellidor Classics at all!
They are the most feebly constructed of all Vics but they are expected to survive unusually harsh conditions - on a keyring, being crushed and battered and scraped by door keys and car keys and all the other stuff in your pocket.
Every single cellidor Classic I've used has fallen apart within months.
Alox Classic? Absolute perfection - probably capable of surviving decades of use.
Cellidor Classic? No matter what cute pictures they put on them I will not buy another one. Total waste of time. I hate the bloody things.

 carried sd, signature lite, or midnight minichamp for years on keyring and nothing ever broke, I've gifted a few, and nobody ever told me about it falling apart...my only issue is the tweezers dont stay in so good,

Thunderpants you wasted your 3000th post on that rant ...but congrats

Not sure what you're doing to your knife.  Mine has been on my keyring and used everyday for many many years.

Man! Had I known it was my 3000th I'd have used it wisely, saying "This is my 3000th post!" or something useful!

In the 20 some years I carried a classic on my keyring, I never had a problem with breakage. But I used the ever lovin dog poo out of it as my first off go-to cutting tool in every day life. I used up a few, like maybe three over that 20 years. Usually the knife blade was sharpened down to a skinny shadow of its former self, the scissors were done from snipping all kids of things, the screw driver on the nail file worn down from all the unscrewing and screwing. The first one was something like 8.99 at Walmart, the second one was like 9.99, and the last one I bought was like 12.95 at Target.

Since the littlest SAK is also the cheapest to replace, it got used like a pawn; the semi expendable knife while my cadet, small tinker, or my sentimental favorite and war horse the Wenger SI was my main "good knife" that got held back unless really needed. Kind of like the knight or bishop. The classic scissors got used as a gasket cutter, rubber mat trimmer of the new floor mats in my car, light wire cutters for small copper wires in appliance  repair,  fishing line trimmer, and the inevitable moustashe and beard trimmer in a pinch, not to mention finger nail trimmer and file. The file has de-burred plastic parts, some nail filing, some smoothing of  burrs on a pistols magazine feed lips, and some other 'smoothing off' operations on odd things. Since the tiny classic is soooo low cost, and sooo unexpectedly capable, it took the brunt of most of my pocket knife jobs for most of that 20 years. I never had one break, even when I knew I was pushing it past what it was designed to do.

I've had handle scale pop off, but a dab of Goop brand glue on the mounting points fixed that. They never came off again. I've had a small chunk of handle break off, so I just filled the gap with some epoxy and kept on using it. It's been my sole pocket knife on vacation in Key West and I've given two away to the shuttle van driver that took us to the airport on the morning we left on two different vacations.

My daughter on the other hand, who treats stuff a bit easier than I, has had the same pink one other eye for almost 20 years and its a decent shape. I've sharpened it up for her on a few occasions, but its held up fine. They remind me of the two Volkswagen Beatles Had in the 60's and 70's; unexpectedly durable little things that get it done.

58mm on my keys now for a good while and its going strong.  Partner carried a 58mm Midnight Minichamp on her work lanyard for years as well with no troubles.

Nice collection.  :tu:

Sweet key setup nascar.   :like:

My wife has carried hers 30+ years and, while pocket worn, has never failed her.  I'm partial to the chilli pepper version myself!
