Yet another "Survival" Bracelet has been showing up on the cheap sights this summer and for 3$ I gave it a try.
Now a quick disclaimer I dont actualy wear the few bracelets I have, just my edc watch. Instead they end up tied to packs and such.
So this is a standard size paracord bracelet that fits ok. Pic1 is next to my others, 2 edc watches (my work), CKRT quick release(MTO aniversery prize), cheapo w/ early firestarter buckel(same year Wazoo released theirs), and last a Bison brand from BassPro. I added jute stitch to acouple of them with a yarn needle.

The compass and thermometer both work. The compass does have a bubble so a little wobble may be needed; but it is one of the more responsive of this type I've seen. The thermometer is only in "C" to metric strikes again...but it does work though a bit small to read.
The paracord itself does have a strand core, but how many I cant tell without cutting an end off.
The ferro rod does work, but dont expect a shower of sparks.
The whistle tests at a peak of 90db out of several tries. But remember this is an uncalibrated phone app at arms leingth Pic3
The light has 3 modes and non replaceable battery. It is of a rubberized coin type with 2led on its face. Press 1 for on; twice for strobe; 3 is off; and hold for SOS. It is enough to navigate a dark room. Pic 4 is not entirely black. The shining object is a BB8 Bop-It game at 4ft from light source. Texas and USA flags are barely visable on the wall at 9ft. While this pic is dark my eyes were adjusted and I could see fine. I would guess it in the same 5lm range as an old Maglight Solitare but thats a guess.

Now to the tools.
This comes with not 1 but 2 OPTs stashed in the buckle. One seams to be an actual mini OPT. The other is an odd T-handled "knife".
First the OPT....is absolutly useless :facepalm:
I thought being the thicker of the two with 2 marginal scraper edges (serrated and plain) it would have some function. It doesnt. I even tried to saw through a tile spacer and only got 1/2 way so cutting zipties would be questionable.
The can opener might work, and the O2 wrench may be the right size. But its a useless tool.
The T-knife which I hated at first glance turned out to be somewhat functional. Box cutter thin I wouldnt trust the flat and 2D philips drivers not to twist. The tab for that stupid protector cap messes up the blade. But the edge is sharp and the striker works. I was actualy able to get shavings and a small feather going on a chip of cherry from a table I cut down.
The sim pick is...well its there. This is just a stub of wire with a rubber plug/handle. Not much else to say on that.
So its not good
Its not bad
I would not rely on it to do anything other than a bracelett....
But it more works than doesnt.

Honestly it isnt bad for as gimicky an it is. I really wasnt expecting much, so it exceeded that.
The big change I would have made is put the multi portion of the multi tool in the T-tool (thicker, no cap) and just have a good plain blade with mabey a couple lashing holes (stick handle?) for the flat tool.

Cut tests
The multi tool doesnt do anything to the eood really. The T-knife worked as long as I was pressing the back with my thumb. The edge is about as sharp as a dollar store steak knife. Enought to work but you arent shaving anything with it.
