Title: What's on your keyring
Post by: papadan on February 08, 2019, 06:10:57 AM: Wondering just how much junk people carry on their keyrings. My main ring is a carabiner so that I can easily change out the items I carry at different times. I've got keys, tools, medicine, and even a water bottle carrier. Just added a Church key, but that is another post. :D :tu:

Sometimes i add a modified (read: knife cut off) sak classic, when i have to go knife-less.

That's one of the reasons for the main ring being a Carabiner, I always just hook it on a belt loop. This pile of stuff wouldn't fit a pocket. ;-)

Post by: Aloha on February 08, 2019, 03:37:18 PM: Congrats. I have a hate hate and I don't like to use the word hate relationship with my keychains. I have 2, one with my vehicle keys and one for my house keys. I don't drive when not working so my house keychain is what I take most times.

House keychain.
Vic belt clip. I really like this thing.
2 keys - I have two different locks at home.
2 pill fobs - Ibuprofen in one, St Josephs pill and anti diarrhea/nausea in the other. I use o rings to keep jingle down.
Fenix LD02 - This light is really awesome. I have 2.
Manager - This is my most favorite SAK. I have 2.

Vehicle keychain.
Nite Ize Carabiner. I've had this awhile.
Photon X - This light is very nice. Has disco modes but you've got to want to get to them.
LM #4 - I was using the #5 and recently switched to this. I might go back to my #5.
Alarm Fob and Key
Camper top keys - I have a Leer Commercial top on my truck.

I usually carry it in my bag.
Sometimes I just remove the house key and put it into my wallet.
Quite handy these little hooks

I also have a keychain in the center console of my car with keys to my folks and my in laws houses. Attached are Lego Boba Fett, a Quark utility knife, and gobs of orange stuff - Classic, one of those chargeable Tube flashlights, ResQ Me, Fox 40. Wouldn't dream if carrying all that garbage around with me, but it fits where it is nicely.
