So I've heard about this new knife about to be released for the usual "make a wish" event of December. Same as last year's limited black Alox Classic SD...
It's apparently a climber (could be wrong) with mostly dark green scales including 3D (textured) elements.
Has anybody seen or heard anything else about this piece yet?

I've had it on my Watch List for a while but I think it's a bit expensive at $140. The scales are really beautiful though.

140 for a climber is just way too steep! If they had serial numbers maybe... But even so... It's a nice piece though I'd feel silly pulling it out to slice an apple outside of Christmas :D

Has VX made the scales green for this winter edition because they expect no snow anymore with X-mas's, due to climate change and so???
And I don't like the grey tweezers. For 140 bucks they could at least made green tweezers.

I don't think it's Vic's MSRP. Just the price some seller on eBay is asking. It seems they've got a couple of those before they will be regularly available. At least it's what I think. I'm hoping Vic will be offering them for a more reasonable price in the near future.

In 2016 Vic issued the blue/black "All you wish for...." Climber (1.3704.3E1).
In 2018 they issued the green "All you wish for...." Climber (1.3704.7E1).
Did they issue an "All you wish for" SAK for 2017?
Some suggested that the special Midnight Black Classic (0.6221.3L17) was the 2017 special Chistmas SAK, but that doesn't seem remotely possible unless it's meant to celebrate some necromantic Black Mass.

The 2017 Special was the White Christmas Explorer, it was the first sak with 3D inlays, snowflakes as well but lightly different pattern. It's still available in some places and was even originally cheaper than the 2018 is anticipated to be, despite it being a Climber, and remainder stock is at least lightly discounted. It's also not as overwhelmingly Christmasy to be silly out of season, I think it's a neat option still if you're looking for a special seasonal SAK.

I really like that Explorer. I just sold one on eBay. Biddings were really very, very low. Oh well, that's how it goes.
My white Christmas Climber went for more than $100 though.

You're probably right lol, but if i get this it will be Climber number 19 for me :facepalm:
Now listed at £47 on Vic UK btw, so that's slightly better :tu:

I don't think the Make a wish and White Christmas are the same series :think:
I have the black classic and there's really nothing Christmassy about it, or wishful for that matter, not sure what was going on there, can't complain at a bit of black alox though :tu:
