I don’t know why Vic won’t put this on a 111mm frame!!!!

Wow!!! I agree with you about that. I'd love to have it on all my SAKs!

I too was surprised at how good a drill it is, the first time I tried. Amazing performance!
-
The best poke tool there is!
[It's not failure if you learn something from it]

:iagree:
Totally agree !!
On a 111 mm it would be the top!
:tu:

If my Deluxe Tinker had an inline awl, it would be perfect. :like:
-
One of the best reasons I love the Pioneer is the forward awl. Amazing tool. :like:

One of the best tools on the SAK :like: :tu:

I'd love to see an inline awl in the 111mm's. Especially if it locked open. :tu:

The Outdoortool has an inline awl and is 111mm...
There was one for sale in the sales section some time ago.
-
The greased up search function is a treat!

Turns out it was a friend of mine who offered 2(!) for sale!
Again, that search speed :dd:
I hope he won't mind me calling him that

I knew about those for sale. I was wanting to buy one but it was just too much at the time.
Even though they had the awl, it wasn’t done correctly.
I’d like to see Victorinox do a 111 with that type of inline awl made especially for the 111 frame.

The inline awl is one of the defining features of the 93mm range. A truly superb tool whose greatness you don't fully realize until you use it. :salute:

:iagree:
I'd grab one if it kept the can opener and had THO! A 111mm Farmer - that would be my ideal work knife.
-
Its a solid tool for sure.
-
I could probably get by with just the 93mm awl it’s thats good.

It's a relatively straight forward mod RP (and I happen to have a spare awl if you'd like it, plus some brass rod).
-
I love the 93mm inline awl :tu:
It's the best Vic. awl design, a bit like a step drill.
-
An inline Awl just makes sense
-
I agree with everyone, it’s awlfully good :pok:
