I know.  They keep saying my billing address doesn't match my address on the card.  I  Finally found a different card that worked.

Plus, I can't get on the site with an Ipad.  Had to use laptop with Windows.

Weird.

That's a good shop. I used to buy from them decades ago when I lived back home. Glad they're still in business.

Yeah.  I've bought a lot over the years from them.  Good guys.  Fast to ship too.

The orange pioneer is calling my name but I have already spent a pile of money on knives this summer.....and I want a Crossbow for the fall.

Where is this fabled money tree?

Really? That's outrageous. If you want to buy one you should email customer service and tell them you heard about them on a forum and ask if they can charge you actual shipping. First class (uninsured) should be about 5 to 7 USD. Sometimes shops like hearing they're being spoken about favorably on the net and give you reasonable deals.

There's part of your problem. Insurance is not available for first class international shipping. And then vendors often don't want to deal with the hassles that can occur when problems arise with international shipping orders, so they only offer a high tier shipping.

In CS's case, no need to offer better priced international shipping on these colored Farmers. They easily sell them out.

It's not my problem, I was suggesting an alternative for nnr. Anyway, I am aware of the issues and options and how much stuff costs to ship since I'm American but living overseas. I just got some flashlights and knives from back home sent from various shops and eBay vendors First Class and that's how I know how much the knife would cost to ship.

If you see outrageous shipping prices sometimes it pays to ask. Until you ask you will not know whether they will offer reasonable shipping options upon request. If they do, problem solved. If not, it is rare to find only one source for something so go buy it from somebody else.

Thanks for the advice :salute:

Yeah, the int. shipping sucks a lot and often. If it's something that I really want very much, I may consider talking to the sellers, but I usually just stay on eBay/Amazon and try to get stuff from there, new or used. I was just curious as here it kept not showing shipping till the very end.

Weird.

I ended up trying multiple cards and they all failed with that same message about details not matching. I emailed them but they reckon the fail is on the bank end... the only way that can make sense to me is if the fields being supplied by the website mismatch what the bank expects to receive.

A bit sad about it. I've been trying to get one of these blue farmers for some time now. If someone is willing to part with one for less than $100 Aus dollars......

Have a US based member forward the item, saves a ton of cash.

Just for the heck of it I entered an international address for Bulgaria in the cart at CS.

The first option listed was Express Mail for $60; the 2nd was small flat rate box Priority Mail for only $25. And that is the USPS rate for that box, so they aren't bumping you up with extra handling charges.

Thank you for saving me money! I've been watching these on the auction site completely unaware they were here and much cheaper!  Btw, yes, these are still available.  Just ordered one.  You, sir, should get a commission!

They also have the orange Farmer, orange Pioneer, and olive green Cadet in stock.
