Title: Etchings
Post by: cody6268 on May 16, 2019, 01:42:45 AM
I've noticed a lot of SAKs have factory blade etchings, usually some company logo. I've noticed they hold up exceptionally well to use. And unlike the laser etchings on a lot of today's knives, it's smooth to the touch. So, how's it done?

We could tell you, but then we’d have to make you disappear forever...

It may be chemical etchingт or electrical discharge machining (EDM treatment).
