Title: 2018 Alox LE Color
Post by: Myron on March 16, 2018, 12:24:13 AM: I've been picking up the most recent Alox LE's in the Pioneer only. I'll probably regret not getting the whole sets some day, but you can't own 'em all I guess.

I was IM'ing with a VSA customer service rep the other day and asked him when the 2018 knives would be available, and he said April 30. I asked him if he could spill the beans on the 2018 color and he said that even they didn't know yet. So I was just wondering if anyone had the inside track on this and knew what it might be?

It was shown here some time ago that the Sportsman had been updated to have this new file as well. I laud the change--the current stippled file can't file metals. The Executive was recently changed to have the stippled file, and I'm hoping it goes to this as well---should be even be better than the older (cut) examples. Hopefully, the 58mms will have it too at one point.

I suspect that like the switch from button lock to liner lock on the 111's there will be a mix in the pipeline for the rest of 2018.
