Title: Replacement Wenger toothpicks.
Post by: Benner on January 06, 2009, 06:18:48 PM
I have annoyingly lost the toothpick from my Wenger clipper and wondered if anyone knew of anywhere where I could get a replacement?

I did find one on ebay, but they wanted nearly £20 to deliver it to the UK  >:( , so I'd rather knock all my teeth out so I didn't need a toothpick than give them my cash.

TIA

Ben

If not then I have one from a 85mm you can have.  Are they the same size?

I don't know actually.   I'm sure Neil will know.

It's pretty annoying that it's gone as I am really fond of this SAK.  Being the AT model, it has no blades at all so is the only SAK that I can carry with me at all times even including work.  It gets used all the time as well, often for the toothpick that has gone walk about.  :(

Different size and the 85mm ones have a slant to match the scales slots. The 63mm ones have flat tops for both tweezers and toothpicks while the 85mm's have the slanted tops.

You might be able to get one to fit but it might slip out at some point. I would just find a supplier and buy a handful of spares or buy some junkers on eBay just for the inserts.

Has the SAK got a nice pair of pliers on it for yanking those little toothy pegs out?  :pok:
