Title: My old sak has come home woohoo
Post by: Zed on November 03, 2014, 11:38:51 AM
I still cant believe this,i went away with my family last weekend but on Thursday my mum said she found one of my old knives and said it is red  :D i sold pretty much all of my knives that i got in the 80's back in around 1992-3 i remember having a sak and used it alot but cant remember selling it,well my mum was going through some boxes and bags up her loft and found my sak  :ahhh its pretty rough and gummed up and you can see my sharpening skills was bad back then but im so glad to have it back as my auntie got it for me and she sadly passed away 5 years ago and was and is the reason i collect stuff so not Kirkys fault  :D anyway here is my old sak ,and a big thanks to my mum for posting it through my door  :salute:

Legality aside, I never could get on with butterfly knives, although I did master the CS Triple action which is an awesome feat given how dispraxic I am :D

What i was thinking.  :tu: so what i did was lightly polish it so its cleaner looking but still can see the scars  :D was going to upgarde the scales but i like the solid feel economy scales plus mainly carry a farmer and got T&T on my classic  :tu: ill keep this spartan true to its original parts  :tu:

Don't blame you there. Maybe if done lightly, but I am not sure.

Well the economy scales on my other matching spartan are in slightly better condition so could just swap them, the originals have some deep scratches so would need a serious polishing.

I would just leave it as it is...and it sure is a keeper, being your first and all. That knife tells some stories. I wouldn't change a thing on it.  :tu:
