Thanks for the heads-up  :tu:  I'm always on the look-out for A100 knock-offs, but I don't see them very often, so it was good of you to share this with us.

I'll bet there will be a lot less than 15 left by the time the MTo vultures have finished picking at the carcase  ;)

Stop press - there are only 5 left, and I wanted 3 !!!

Update -  I got my three, my buyer got one, and there is only one left now, so if you are sitting on the fence it might be time to jump !

I'll try a translation for our less german-speaking members..

A list of the tool set in German.

                                             Profi Star Quality Tools

1 x Gripzange = Locking pliers
1 x Flachspitzzange = Needle nose Pliers (?)
1 x Kombizange = combination pliers
1 x Drahtschneider = wire cutters
1 x Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher = Phillips screwdriver
1 x Schlitzschraubendreher = flat screwdriver
1 x Dosenöffner = crate opener (?)
1 x Feile grob = course file
1 x Feile fein = fine file
1 x Messer = knife

Well, at least I tried...  ::)

I think "messer" seemed so much more interesting (and anarchic) than plain and simple "knife".  Next you'll be telling me there is no Santa Claus or Tooth Fairy  ;)

Update:  The seller now says s/he has 6 available for sale.

Oh, wait, the Dosenöffner is probably the can or bottle opener

Etherealicer was faster -.-

Why would anyone want a Phillips screwdriver when they can get a Kreuzschlitzschraubendreher?

Well I've just bought one "blind" as I don't speak German so had to rely on good ol'fashioned ignorance and click the "blue" boxes!!!  lol

As expected the PayPal payment was refused as the seller didn't specify shipping to the UK - which obviously I couldn't have known

I've sent the seller an email asking for confirmation (sincerely hope he speaks English) I'll keep you all posted........who knows, I may get one yet!!  :drink:

UPDATE:

Well the plan failed miserably - the seller has simply sent me a request asking for a cancellation.
Would anyone be prepared to get me one on my behalf......Please!!

Try asking lowtech. He's helped members with shipments form Germany before. Maybe you find something interesting in his sale threads too so you can lower the shipping. :D

Isn't he still on his honeymoon??  I bought a few things from lowtech a while back, I'm pretty certain the BIG day was fairly close. Don't wish to PM him if he's got 'ahem' other things on his mind - lol.

Lowtech is currently on his honeymoon.  He managed to buy some for me (and himself) in between his wedding and going on his honeymoon - these MTO'ers are truly dedicated to their addiction  :tu:

I will be very interested in hearing how you chaps get along with these, the quality looks OK.  In fact the finish looks very similar to the Crunch clones we have seen, I wonder if there is a Chinese tool plant that has a thing for vice grip style pliers?  ;)

I haven't actually used mine, but after a quick look I'd rate the quality as reasonably good, and better than you'd expect for the price  :tu:

They are labelled "Profi Star"  "Quality - Tools"

I second that - I ony played around with it and apart from a somewhat "gritty" feeling in some tools at first, it seems ok. Fit and finish is good, I can´t judge the steel quality as I have not put it to teh test yet.

It still works for me.  Maybe try searching www.ebay.de (http://www.ebay.de) for item # 271238211192

The seller then relisted some more, but doesn't seem to have any for sale at the moment.
