I've been looking at scales for my swisschamp and huntsman lite. I've found swissbianco titanium and carbon fiber plus scales, which I thought about buying each set and having one scale of each on a knife to match my spyderco military CF/ti. But I also like the idea of having the digital display or a light in the scales. Why idea where to find either?

A Swisschamp with an analog clock is known as a "supertimer".

Neither. A clock is fragile, and the circuit board is susceptible to moisture (the LCD display is both), and a lot harder to clean compared to the inline LED that can easily be dissected, cleaned, and put back together.

That is a really cool idea with "show side" and "clip side" like on folders !

Those scales will need a special outer liner with cutouts to accomodate the watch and led screen...

The liner also as a cutout on the side... here’s FolderBeholder’s pic...(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180531/57aa141aa0d675765d730d91aa83a86d.jpg)

You might find a Supertimer on ebay.

Oh. So it's not just a simple swap, there are relief cuts in the outer liner

I can't think of a dafter place to put a watch than on the side of a Swiss army knife... It looks like a $1 piece of junk anyway. I am sure it's possible to make a decent looking timekeeper for a SAK but so far Victorinox's efforts have looked really lame and unimaginative.
