Anybody have experience with the Mikov 100-NH-3V?
I'm thinking of getting me one. It's only E 13.
-
Sorry no experience with them but if you get one let us know how they are  :tu:
-
I've ordered one just now. Price E 21.53 including PayPal fees and p&p.
-
Tell us if it's possible to eat spaghetti with it. If so I may have to get one from Santa.

I'm not into spaghetti, I prefer macaroni and eat it with a spoon. You're on your own, buddy!

I will be interested in reading your thoughts on the Mikov 100-NH-3V once you have it in hand.
I could have used it yesterday, I had to eat salad with a spoon.
-
The problem is, you need two of them to eat a steak...
-
It's a pretty knife... but I'd want a can opener on my "food" knife.
Im curious what the quality is like.

I'm not a regular can opener user; many cans overhere have pull tabs.
This one's gonna be my "apple waiter". My standard apple knife is a Pioneer Solo, but it doesn't open bottles of apple wine or cider. So if this is a decent knife it'll replace the Solo.

Nice find. I reckon my 111mm cheese knife would work well with a hobo upgrade like that

Hi Ronald
Great find of a different type of SAK :like:
It looks cool and just having the option to use a fork on a multi tool could be useful, instead of using a spork or something else when eating on the go.
I will be excited to see your review and pictures of the actual knife.

The knife will be here on Saturday if all goes well... Looking forward to it!

Great. Hopefully it will arrive without any delay. :tu:

Well, Saturday came and went... No package. T&T says it's arriving today. Ecxiting!
Edit: exciting!

Sadly there is no emoticon for eating popcorn with a fork, or I would be using it.

Postal service data:
Dimensions: 28 x 19,5 x 5,5 cm
Weight: 0,28 kg
Volume: 3,00 L
Seems like a large package for a 9cm, 71g knife.

Hello, I have some experience with the company. It's Czech company. I have 3 knifes from them, two of them are carbon steel and one stainless steel. And I must say that the stainless steel is dull so you will need to sharpen the blade. But if you would like to I can search for some more information on web. (sorry for my english, I'm still learning :P) Also they usualy write that it has pvc shealth but nope, it doesn't it's usually just plastic bag.

Don't worry, if it needs sharpening then I will do so. I have/had a few other Mikov knives and I like them.
-
I'm glad to hear that. They are pretty cheap where I live, and I didn't hear really nice things about the company. But I thing it wasn't because of multifunction knifes. But I like the knifes they make ( except ghey could be sharp right out of a box)
-
I'm a bit confused by the whole idea of a knife factory that speSmurfpillses in making blunt knives...
They're making world domination a bit too easy for the Swiss!
-
Let's just say that they aren't sharp enough ( at least for me). You have to sharpen them yourself. I don't think that they are completly dull, you can cut something with it, but you definitly cut paper. They just don't meet my standarts. I need sharper knifes :climber:
-
At last! It's here!
First impression: looks like a SAK (almost), feels like a SAK (almost).
The sharpness was not impressive. I needed half a minute on the DC4 to corrrect this..
Springiness is good.
I'll have photographs in a few minutes.

I like the lion!

This is where I ordered the knife: https://www.wulflund.com/weapons/swiss-army-knives/knife-mikov-100-nh-3v.html/
The entire Mikov range of SAK-alikes is here: http://www.mikov.cz/en/69-messer-pocket-folding-knives.html

I like their blue
111mm 110mm SAKs (or CAKs....)
-
Thank you for posting the pics and first impressions. I sure do like the fork tool. :tu:

Hi guys, I was born in Czechoslovakia and I love my Mikov, I have it more than 20 years.
But i must say, that new designed Mikov knives are more fake victorinox than good knife.
Low quality, not sharp, I can compare it. Don't buy this piece of smurf, if you don't need fork :).

Prime candidate for mod fodder.
Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

The blade wasn´t sharp out of the box, but it is now. And the fork is cool. The ´silver´ lion has faded away.
-
Are those nylon scales?
-
Any further news on this knife??

I think so.

Not really.
For me, it´s a party knife, opening bottles, and cutting cheese and dried sausage.
As such, it functions well enough.
