With regard to the design - the hardest part is to choose the correct tolerances. Before the final version was about ten provisional - that would not be superfluous backlash not jammed screws and so on.

As for the speed of delivery - is interesting to me to collect statistics on-time delivery to different regions (to write the actual time of delivery). After reading reviews on-time delivery from Russia, I thought that sending will come no earlier than a month.
I am surprised that the first parcel received buyers from the US and Canada - I think that will be the first Europe.

This happens if you do not heat the screws (it uses a thread lock).
I tried to do this key smaller, but if he does not get some screws.
I'll try the next time you order the production of this key is to make a little less.

Mine got here this morning. I had to laugh up until a few days ago I thought the wrenches were coming from Florida after I payed for the wrenches I looked to see where they were coming from I saw St Petersburg I was thinking Florida not Russia. All in all they got here pretty fast.

How about the smaller size knurled screw on the Kershaw A100/Craftsman 45516 ? The larger knurled screw on these tools is covered by the second largest size on your Leatherman key.

I've got a pile of micra mods waiting to get done.
Dismantle my ST200 for it's long overdue service.
Replace some worn out parts in the work ST300.
Build up a Rebar type based MT for the older kid.
And then maybe tune up the work Rebar as well.

After listening to additional proposals.
I think I'll stick to just using pliers for my Gerbers for now though

Howdy folks, I'm new to the site and I am very interested in obtaining a set of the Leatherman "spindle wrenches". Can someone let me know how to go about locating and purchasing a set? I've only done a couple of mods so far. I put a Kick pocket clip on a PST II and put a Sidekick main blade on a Wingman and also took the serrated small blade off the Sidekick and put it on the Wingman as well. I wanted the features of either Sidekick or Wingman with the pocket clip but I wanted the main blade to be smooth/straight versus serrated/combo and I wanted the scissors more than I wanted the saw, and I wanted the small serrated blade more than the box opener. From what I've read on this thread I want to get a set 4 and also a set 10. Thanks, John :drool:
Just send loki a PM and he'll help you out with more info. You should be fine with just the set 4. Set 10 only has two of the four knurled fastener sizes.

:oops: I didn't realize that set 10 duplicated part of set 4 - Oh well, I guess I'll just have a couple of extras. Better more than less! Thanks! I'm really happy to find these, I took my last mod apart and put it back together with a combination of Vice Grips and a Kick pocket clip. Kinda boogered up one of the screw heads when the Vice Grips kept slipping off.You can instead set #10 take a set #9, then you will be able to disassemble Gerber. Or, if you want I'll give you a portion of the amount (for the set that you do not need)

Hi Loki, just to let you know my package arrived during the week, but didn't have time to open then.Unfortunately beam 5 bits are very susceptible to rust. The new party, too, with a little rust, but it is not the working surface of bits and does should not affect its performance.

Well, not quite, of the main brands only Leatherman and Gerber have use of loki-mobile's wrenches for modifications. The multitools offered from Victorinox are riveted together and SOGs offering come with standard Allen sockets to allow user modification.

Welcome to the forum! I don't think it's that easy (I might be wrong) but how about a short introduction and maybe a picture or two and you should be there in no time. The wrenches worked admirably on a PST. Though I had previously slightly damaged the splines on the screws, the wrenches handled it all with uncommon competence.

Thank you for explaining that! I had no idea how much heat it takes to loosen it up. How does a black oxide finish hold up against a few seconds of open flame? I'm guessing just fine, but just want to be sure.

I've found a little tip that if you put a piece of scotch tape down over the screw heads, it's thin enough to not effect the comparability, but it protects your tool from scratches during the wrenching or modding process.

It's "Jungle"! Kinda like an army green or OD I guess. Not sure. It's amazing tho :DThese wrenches are great.

Just fine tuning it. The pliers were super tight and so were the tools. But with lokis wrenches I was able to get it perfect! :cheers:

Question: have you developed a version of these wrenches that will work on the new Rebar?
The Rebar uses this same kind of star-head fastener, but it also has the fastener-heads recessed in shallow wells. Or to put that differently, the sheet-metal of the handles is raised in a cup around the heads.
Given this recess, I do not see how the wrench will be able to grasp the head. But maybe there is already an answer to this problem?
Any thoughts welcome--either ways to use the current tool in order to remove the Rebar bolts, or plans for a new and modified tool to accommodate them?

Over the decades, I have disassembled many Leathermen, and I have *always* scarred up the bolts.As a generally careful craftsman, that is always painful to me. But I have tried lots of things, but never found the right tool for the right job.
So it will be great to finally have it!

Once you have 5 posts you can use a PM to get in touch with Loki. Let him know what you want and once he confirms that he has the tools in stock, send the money in US funds via paypal to him (his paypal info is above on this page). Paypal is a bit confusing in that it indicated that Loki would receive $25 us from me when I paid $25 us however it deducted 6% from his payment before he received it. I had chosen to pay for "goods or services". I had to make a small second payment to bring the total up to $25 US. He shipped mine immediately after payment and provided me with a tracking number.
I suspect Loki may have missed your request due to the lengthy quotes included.

I managed to lost my loki parse keys ordered long ago, and now would like to order a complete 'sets' that could pretty much opens all brands.
Just to understand correctly--for example,
Set 3 has Two 6-star wrench (TT10) for disassembling WAVE(after 2004), WAVE+, CHARGE Ti(after 2004)/TTi, CHARGE TTI+, WINGMAN, SIDEKICK, REV[/size]
1) Does it mean it has two identical 6-star wrenches, which each of them can open all those MTs listed above? Or those two wrenches are different within Set 3?

If someone they are interested in, I can do more. Production time approximately 2-4 weeks.
