Title: Motorcycle-related swiss army knives?
Post by: ChopperCharles on May 16, 2018, 11:14:25 PM
I've seen a Wenger motorist knife on eBay, which looks really useful in a lot of ways. What I'm really wanting to know about though are any knives branded with motorcycle manufacturers or oil/gas companies. For gas and oil companies, brands like Sunoco/Amsoil/Amoco/shell/standard/gulf/76/texaco/mobile/etc. For motorcycles, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Bultaco, or really anything except Harley. If I'm going to collect any SAKs... it's going to be something moto-related. But does such a thing even exist?

Charles.

I am aware of several Ducati branded SAK's. Don't have any myself though. Happy hunting!

There is a least one Ducati SAK: Midnite Manager V-DC01 (Kunzi Spa).
But it's a little bit pricey.

There are a lot more Ducati's available! Unfortunately none is in my collection  :(
The one you showed costs about € 29 which is a rather decent price.

I have bought my knife for € 35, so € 29 would be better. ;)

€ 38,94 at an Italian online shop called "Agraria Gioiese di De Caria Antonio".
I found it this evening on the internet. They have lots of rare Victorinox knives at decent prices. But I haven't ordered anything yet.

That white ducati is the bomb. I might have to buy that...  I was hoping there were vintage knives out there with Kawasaki and Suzuki and such on them. Even just the little SD knives. Seems like there's a lot of company logos, but few for motorsports.

I seem to remember seeing one of these in 91mm, cant see it in their shop though,  "all things swiss" although it may be a bit too Harley'ish

Far, far, FAR too harley-ish. If it was a vintage CB750 hardtail chopper with parts falling off, I'd be on that like syrup on pancakes. But the image on that knife makes me throw up in my mouth a little bit.

Hey, hi all, I have some Ducati knives... I'll post pictures later on.

Regarding that Italian website, there are some webpages related to the same store.

I placed an order in 2016 November (I'm from Spain). They didn't answer any of my emails and didn't sent the goodies either. I had to phone call them four times to clarify the situation (they only speak Italian). Don't have most of the items they show in their sites and don't send abroad.
Finally, after a great effort and three months later, I managed to get my order but didn't send all items and didn't refund the difference.

So, as a recommendation, if you want to buy something from them, contact first to an Italian MTO  college to help you.
