Thank you all again for your patience and understanding, I will try to manage my schedule better in the future but, sometimes it's just not doable.
I don't believe any of you will be too angry with me for the wait once you open the package. Also, if the yellow envelope type packages are opened properly, there is a handwritten message on the inside of each flap. I'll be anxious to see if anyone finds it. If it offends the party it is referring to, then I will have been successful.

I've ducked enough cheap shots from people I can see without having to dodge them from people I can't. My profession and subsequent activities thereafter are problematic enough. I'm through drawing fire for simply sending out a few random gifts. Being nice shouldn't make me subject to repeated suspicion, it was just something I chose to do and I did so with no regrets. Just like everything else I do.
For anyone who finds this explanation unsatisfactory, I on the other hand, am not hard to find.

Once again thanks all for the welcomes. Also to all following this thread please accept my sincere apologies for my poor judgement regarding the post about hunting season on me. Clearly, I acted and spoke out of emotion rather than reason and should have thought that through further. I apologize for stating any of that openly where it didn't belong.This right here, is one of the many things that makes MTO a great place. Members like Stew, MadP, Higgins, Kyle Grathr and so many more for me to post in one day.
Joel, please accept my apology for what was obviously a "knee jerk " reaction on my part and very much lacking in evidence. Also please re-consider not leaving the forum. You remain no less a valued member than any of us and this dust up, is because of me. I take full responsibility for my post and, in fact, do regret it. If I need to leave for a while I will certainly respect that decision with no argument.
However, I would personally appreciate it if you would re evaluate this decision and know that the fault lays squarely with me and not you in this matter. I said something stupid and it tarnished our collective home. I humbly ask for your forgiveness for that and would greatly appreciate it if you would just, consider the source in this case, namely me, and stick around. You and I can get along just fine here and I promise to consult you first should I ever have a concern in the future.

Fedex, the only company that shipped me a package and attempted to charge me higher brokerage fees than what the product was worth. :facepalm:And yet UPS brokerage fees are even worse!!
There are some who are brave enough to be heros and there are those who envy those heros because they got stuck in the villain role...
UPS did come close once...but not like Fedex.That actually surprises me. They both suck as far as brokerage goes though!! It's better just to clear the items yourself if the CBSA office isn't too far away.
