One downside to the Lexan is despite looking cool, it makes the ruler much more difficult to use.
Speaking of Lexan...
Day 5I finally got to the promised compare and contrast.
The blue Lexan did much worse on intact paracord. Its scissors required five or six passes, as opposed to the two or three for the newer green Micra. I'm chalking that up to the huge age difference between the two. The blue Lexan is awlmost certainly overdue for some sharpening.
It handled the guts a little better. That piece of yellow paracord will likely make another appearance before the challenge wraps up.
