Post by: WoodsDuck on October 18, 2016, 12:48:25 PM
Spotted what I'm pretty sure is a SOG PowerPlay here, carried by Coyote Peterson;

Lol, yea pretty sure that is a PowerPlay. I have used my SwitchPlier 2.0 to take out cacti before, as well. Well suited for the task

Looks like a PowerPlay to me too.  The SOG backpack is also a bit of an indicator.  :D

One question though- if they are dug in as deep as he says, and removing chunks of flesh, why is there no blood?

I didn't even notice the backpack!

He may be exaggerating the severity of that cactus "attack" but it does appear to be needling him pretty good in some spots. At the least I'm sure it didn't tickle  ;)

I have no doubt that was an unpleasant experience, but if they were barbed like he said, and ripping out "chunks of flesh" then I would expect to see blood.  you can tell they were barbed as they grabbed on to the other guy too.  I just don't think they were as deep as he was suggesting.
